🏀 Our Bunbury Bears Legends Retire 🏀
This year marks an extraordinary 52-year journey for Chick Elson in the Basketball WA Country Championships.

Chick's illustrious basketball career began at 21 when he represented Capel, and now, as he turns 73, he can look back on 41 phenomenal years with the Bunbury Bears.

Chick’s team of vets are also retiring.
From team manager Graham Jones:
Steve Gray, Gary Adlam, Jed Mulder, Chick and myself have all finished this year.
All of us have played for 20 or more years with Bunbury Masters.
Chick is the pinnacle!!
We are all retiring. We all have replacement ‘parts’ or medical issues which tell us it is time to call it!
Thanks for all the support over the years!
Cheers

This team is the very heart and soul of basketball—revered legends whose passion and dedication to the game have left a lasting legacy. Their contributions to the sport and our community will be celebrated for generations to come.

We wish them all the best in his retirement and extend our heartfelt gratitude for everything he has done for basketball and our community.
